KIWOOMI
is the mascot of Korea Asset Management Corporation.
“Kiwoomi” is the name of a new mascot describing KAMCO’s virtuous image, through the combination of the following three Korean syllables. KI(키), citing the first syllable of the Korean verb, Kiwooda (키우다:grow), signifies the image of “growing hopes” by safeguarding the peoples’ livelihood and the national economy. WOO(우), picturing the image of the Sino-Korean word, Woo (우:友:friend), represents the image of helping by your side, just like a close friend. MI(미:美:beautiful) is indicative of the role of safeguarding an abundant and beautiful future and further promising a virtuous economic cycle. A symbol mark is said to be a formal expression designed for ceremonies, while a mascot is a more approachable subject which can be widely utilized in various ways, particularly for promotional purposes.
