KAMCO has established a global network with major international restructuring institutions for the purpose of sharing and maintaining information on various institutions and restructuring markets. KAMCO has also developed a systematic research management system for the research of investment environments and market information.
In the aftermath of the 1997 Asian financial crisis, KAMCO acquired and accumulated knowhow on advanced financial techniques, while making an excess return after injecting public funds became the international model for NPL resolution. KAMCO’s unique success in the field has also led to signing of MOUs with 32 major institutions from 20 countries. KAMCO also provided training programs 51 times to executives and staff of various foreign NPL resolution corporations.
In addition, KAMCO is registered as an official consulting institution in ADB, IDB, AfDB and KEXIM, providing consultation to Vietnam, Mongolia and Latin American countries. Based on these experiences, KAMCO has been actively sharing its experience and knowhow to developing countries through the Korean government's Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP).
KAMCO jointly founded the International Public AMC Forum (IPAF) to strengthen Asian economic safety net, establish a knowledge sharing system and build a mutually supportive international cooperation network.
