In collaboration with the World Bank, KAMCO delivered a week-long training program to the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) from December 15 to 18 at KAMCO Yangjae Tower in Seoul, focusing on Korea’s experience in NPL resolution frameworks and the operational role of public Asset Management Companies (AMCs). Led by Deputy Governor H.E. Yim Leat, the NBC delegation demonstrated strong commitment and enthusiasm, engaging actively throughout the program despite long training hours through thoughtful questions, case-based discussions, and in-depth exchanges of views. During the program, the delegation also joined a tea-time meeting with KAMCO Chairman & CEO Mr. Jeong Hoon Jeong, providing an opportunity for candid dialogue and high-level exchange on policy perspectives and future cooperation. Meanwhile, the program was conducted as part of KAMCO’s ongoing cooperation with the NBC, which includes an earlier training program in November 2024 and the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in March 2025. |
