KAMCO (Korea Asset Management Corporation, President Jeong Hoon Jeong) announced that it conducted a training program titled “Enhancing Capacity for the Operation of Indonesia’s Online Asset Disposal System” from June 29 (Mon) to July 10 (Fri) for 15 employees of Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance’s Directorate General of State Assets.

This training is part of an international program jointly launched by KAMCO and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to be continued for three years starting in 2025. It aims to improve Indonesia’s state asset management system and enhance digital-based management capacity.

The second training session this year focused on reviewing the implementation outcomes of the “Improvement Plan for Indonesia’s State Asset Management and Online Asset Disposal System” established during last year’s first session. Additionally, the follow-up cooperation projects for the “Memorandum of Understanding for the Efficiency in State Asset Management,” signed in April, were also discussed.

Key components of the training included:

  • Case studies on state asset management using AI

  • Strategies to promote the use of Indonesia’s online asset disposal system

  • Local application measures and collaboration project proposals

By systematically linking policy theory and practical fieldwork, the training aimed to enhance effectiveness.

Seok Hwan KIM, Director of KAMCO’s State Owned Property Group, stated, “Through this training, we closely reviewed the implementation outcomes and further detailed future follow-up cooperation projects. Moving forward, we will continue to support the enhancement of state asset management capacities in developing countries, leveraging KAMCO’s core competencies.”

Meanwhile, KAMCO plans to expand its collaborations with Indonesia and other developing nations based on its accumulated experience and case studies in state asset management, continually sharing management systems tailored to each country’s conditions and needs.
