Kamco conducted training sessions on its property auction practices related to tax arrears and the online asset disposal system. These sessions were organized for the officials from the Vietnamese Ministry of Justice (MOJ), led by Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Civil Judgement, and also included officers from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Vietnam. This visit proved to be highly opportune, coinciding with the MOJ's issuance of Decree 47 in September 2023, which authorizes online asset auctions. This new regulation is designed to enhance the efficient management of confiscated assets in Vietnam. Kamco has expressed a keen interest in fostering further dialogue with the MOJ to explore potential areas of collaboration and business development. This includes the possibility of providing more comprehensive training and consultation services, leveraging the support of international organizations. |
