The Vietnam Asset Management Company (VAMC) underwent a two-day in-person training session in Seoul, Korea, focused on enhancing its capacity in Non-Performing Loan (NPL) management, specifically in debt-to-equity swaps and securitization. The training also covered insights from the successful operation of KAMCO's online bidding system, OnBid. Following the training, both parties mutually agreed to collaborate by sharing potential NPL investment deal lists and facilitating the exchange of personnel. This partnership aims to support VAMC in bolstering its efforts to enhance NPL resolution capabilities on-site. VAMC extended an invitation to a delegation from KAMCO, welcoming them to its new headquarters in Hanoi, Vietnam, as part of their ongoing collaboration which would take place in the 1st half, 2024. |
